University of Hartford

When the University of Hartford was incorporated just over 50 years ago by business and community leaders, they envisioned a center of education and culture for Greater Hartford. At its core, it would be a university for the community created by the community.

The University has come a long way since its humble beginnings on Hartford’s last remaining farm, evolving from a local school for commuters into a comprehensive university that attracts students from throughout the world. Yet it remains true to its original mission of serving as a valued resource for individuals, families, businesses, and communities throughout the Hartford region, offering hundreds of programs that serve the University and its neighbors every day. For over 45 years listener supported WWUH has served an important role in the University's community service mission.

Progressive Movie Night - Operation Terror

The next event in WWUH's Progressive Movie Night will be a showing of the film Operation Terror on Thursday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auerbach Auditorium.

Operation Terror is a dramatization of one theory that might explain what actually transpired on September 11, 2001. The film won a number of film-festival awards in 2012.

James McCullough from the mysterious “Council” gives a special assignment to CIA agent Aaron Delgado to attack the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and pin the blame on Muslim Terrorists. Delgado and fellow agents, Phillip Singer and Chase Jordan, work with a group of unsuspecting engineers to develop unmanned jets that will hit their assigned targets. The Army and the FBI begin to uncover the plot, forcing Delgado to intervene. The CIA agents also have to deal with an increasingly suspicious George Poole, the lead engineer working on the drones, who becomes skeptical on how the remote controlled planes will be used. A battle between good and evil ensues as the plot to attack America becomes a hard-hitting reality.

"I am delighted that there is a Hollywood fictional account that covers the more likely events of 9/11 that could wake America up!" ...Richard Gage, AIA of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth.

Auerbach Auditorium is located on the campus of the University of Hartford. It is in Hillyer Hall (not Auerbach Hall!). You may park in Lot B.
