Scott Deshefy, regular host on the first Tuesday of each month, has several times presented the six symphonies of the Danish composer, Carl Nielsen (1865-1931). However, in addition to being one of the most original symphonists after Brahms, Nielsen wrote some wonderful music for solo piano, solo organ, strings, winds, and voice.
