10/04/2011 4:00 pm
10/04/2011 8:00 pm

Scott Deshefy, regular host on the first Tuesday of each month, has several times presented the six symphonies of the Danish composer, Carl Nielsen (1865-1931). However, in addition to being one of the most original symphonists after Brahms, Nielsen wrote some wonderful music for solo piano, solo organ, strings, winds, and voice.

Tune in on Tuesday, October 4, from 4-8 PM, as guest host David Schonfeld samples Nielsen's fascinating chamber music output.
