Fall Fundraiser!
WWUH is truly "listener supported" as 90% of our funding comes from our listeners during the two on-air fund drives we run each year. Our listeners have always been extremely generous, a fact that we never take for granted.
Our 2025 Fall Fundraiser kicks off on Sunday October 19 at 6 PM with Wild Wayne and The Rock'n'Roll Memory Machine. We have an ambitious goal of $50,000. WWUH is a non-commercial public alternative radio station. The University Of Hartford provides us with a place to operate and some basic services, but the lion's share of our operating budget comes from our listeners. We come to you twice a year asking for your support to keep WWUH on the air. All year long you listen to WWUH's unique programming - programming that you're just not going to hear anywhere else. Pledge your support to keep it coming your way. Tune in anytime during Fundraiser week to call and pledge your support, or you may donate online.
If you don't have the opportunity to pledge during the on-air Fall Fundraiser, you can still donate online. Among the premiums we have as our way of saying "Thanks!" for your donation, we are offering a newly designed WWUH quarter-zip pullover!

I'm also thrilled to report that WWUH has been voted "Best College Radio" in CT for 2025 by the Connecticut Broadcaster's Association (CBA)! This comes on top of our award last year for "Best Non-Commercial Station". I'm confident that the folks who voted to bestow this high honor on UHart Radio took into account our 5+ decades of serving the public, the variety and diversity of our line up and the professionalism of our all-volunteer on-air staff. Thank you CBA!
