Henry Purcell: The Fairy Queen (complete)
This masque or semi-opera from 1692 will be performed, fully staged, on Friday, July 12 in New London, CT, as part of this summer's Amherst Early Music Festival.
Ludwig van Beethoven: Die Grosse Fuge
On Saturday, July 6, the Tokyo String Quartet will be presenting its final concert at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. We will listen to at least one recording of theirs.
Johannes Brahms: Ein Deutsches Requiem, Op. 45
This work will be performed on Saturday, July 27, in Berlin, CT as the culmination of this year's CONCORA Summer Choral Festival.
