Out Here and Beyond - Joe Palmer, Yuni Mojica, and Raynel Frazier

Saxophonist Yuni Mojica and trombonist Raynel Frazier are producing a series of free weekly jazz concerts at various Hartford locations on Thursdays through July 19. This Thursday, they will feature pianist Alan Palmer's New Soil Ship at Black-Eyed Sally's, 350 Asylum St., 8:30 p.m.
 
Drummer Joe Palmer will discuss Thursday's performance of his father's band during Chuck Obuchowski's "Out Here & Beyond" jazz program Tuesday, July 3 at 10 a.m. Palmer will share recordings by New Ship Soil. Mojica and Frazier will also speak with Chuck about their UMOJA series and about the other artists who'll be appearing this month.
