Dr. Filburn is professor of mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture and director of the CT Space Grant Consortium, on nuclear power plant construction, operation, and safety issues.
In this conversation, he talks about his background and training, programs at the University of Hartford, and the exciting challenges and opportunities within the field of Engineering.
