Ted Niehay
Ted Niehay wearing his WWUH jacket at the amazing Crazy Horse Memorial near Custer, South Dakota. Ted made a visit to the memorial this past June. For over 50 years sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski (who by the way is responsible for the statue of Noah Webster in West Hartford Center) worked on what will eventually be the most massive sculpture ever created. Ziolkowski died 14 years ago but his wife and children continue the work on this "dream in granite." A lasting memorial to one of the last great indian leaders, Crazy Horse.
