Friday Synthesis - Roger McGuinn of the Byrds
Hear an interview with folk rock icon Roger McGuinn on Friday, June 13, 2014 around 2 p.m. during Synthesis with Denise, which airs weekly from 1-4 p.m. Chuck Obuchowski recorded the interview with McGuinn for WWUH last week.
The Byrds were one of the most influential American rock groups of the 1960s and 70s. Founding member McGuinn still captivates audiences 50 years after the band's inception with his distinctive 12-string guitar sound and mastery of folk, blues, and rock. He continues to write and sing new originals, and he has become a champion of traditional folk music too.
Roger McGuinn performs a sold-out show at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, CT on Saturday night, June 14.
