In Program #12, David talks to Mala Matacin.
Mala is Associate Professor, and the Director of the Undergraduate Program, in Psychology. She is joined in the studio by Nikole Jewell, a Junior at the University of Hartford.
In this interview, Mala and Nikole talk with David about stereotypes of femininity and masculinity; patriarchy in our culture; the intersection of power, privilege, and gender; shame-spiraling; beauty, fashion, and make-up; Girlcott; Umbrellas for Peace/Take Back the Night; sexual violence; scale smashing; and about the organization they are very active in on campus: Women for Change.
