Tuesday Evening Classics - Katie Lansdale
Join host David Schonfeld on Tuesday, September 25 from 4 to 8. This installment of Tuesday Classics will spotlight the Lions Gate Trio, which will be performing on October 3 at Millard Auditorium, University of Hartford.
David will preview some of the music on the Lions Gate's program, with particular focus on the English composer, Rebecca Clarke (1886 – 1979).
From about 7:00, David will be joined in the studio by Katie Lansdale, member of the Hartt faculty and violinist with the Lions Gate Trio. Katie will talk about the Trio's ongoing Beethoven cycle and its recent "Clarke Project", among other topics.
