Sheila Jordan brings her vocal magic to The Artists Collective, 1200 Albany Ave. in Hartford on Saturday at 8 p.m. The 83-year-old jazz singer received the prestigious NEA Jazz Master Award in February. Her performances still exude abundant creativity and ageless enthusiasm.
You'll be able to hear Sheila Jordan discussing her life and music Tuesday, April 24 at 10 a.m. on WWUH. Chuck Obuchowski will air an interview with Sheila at 10 a.m. during Out Here & Beyond, his Morning Jazz program. Chuck will also play songs from throughout her storied career.
