Chuck Obuchowski will air an interview with NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Heath during Tuesday Morning Jazz, Out Here & Beyond on WWUH 91.3 FM August 2 at 10 AM EDT.
At 84, the native Philadelphian is still impressing audiences worldwide with his tenor saxophone work and outstanding composing and arranging skills. He'll be heading the Litchfield Jazz Festival on Sunday, August 7 at 7 PM with a big band that includes University of Hartford jazz instructor Steve Davis on trombone.
