Tuesday Evening Classics - Handel: Il Pastor fido
Join Tuesday Evening Classics host, David Schonfeld, on June 9, 2015, for an early-music special. David will play a complete performance of George Frideric Handel's opera, Il Pastor fido ("The Faithful Shepherd"), in its 1734 version.
This opera will be performed live at this year's Amherst Early Music Festival at Connecticut College in New London, CT, on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.
Fans of early music will also want to check out the Connecticut Early Music Festival and the Boston Early Music Festival, both of which take place during June.
